Batsheva welcomes you to her home in Newton, MA, where she has lived for the past 29 years.
Together with her late husband, Richard, who was an artist and landscape designer, they transformed the interior and gardens of their classic New England Cape house, into a showcase of art and color.
Batsheva is a Special Needs and ESL teacher, who delights in working with both chidlren and adults. She has developed a specialized method to help speakers of other languages master American English pronunciation. See AccentOnEnglish.org . Batsheva is a trained singer, currently performing with the Halalisa Singers, and is a passionate mountain hiker and cyclist.
Paintings and hand-crafted weavings, carvings and basketry from Batsheva's many travels decorate the house and garden. Favorite destinations include Bali, Corsica, Crete, France, Israel, Italy, Laos, Switzerland, Thailand, Tobago, Peru, and Viet Nam.
